Registered Massage Therapist & Certified Athletic Therapist
Marcy has been a Physiotherapy/Occupational Therapy Assistant since 2000, a
Kinesiologist since 2007, a Certified Athletic Therapist since 2010 and a Registered
Massage Therapist since 2019. She was also a Personal Trainer at a gym for 8 years.
She joined MassageWorks in 2026 where she works as a Registered Massage Therapist
and a Certified Athletic Therapist.
Over the course of her career, she has worked in hospitals, clinics, in universities working
with sports teams, and a gym. She has had the pleasure of working with a wide range of
people of all ages and activity levels. She has experience treating patients who are in
pain, injured, athletes, pre and post surgical, who require rehabilitation, injury prevention
or maintenance, or who just want to destress and have a relaxation massage.
She is dedicated and committed to helping people achieve their goals by providing
personalized treatments that are unique and specific to everyone’s individual needs.
Depending on which service she is providing, she performs various manual therapy
techniques such as Swedish massage, deep tissue massage, trigger point release, soft
tissue release, passive range of motion, stretching, traction, mobilizations, and exercise
prescription. Her area of specialty is rehabilitation.
Marcy is continuously furthering her education by taking continuing education courses to
ensure her patients receive the best possible treatment.
